This past month has been nothing but busy. I have found that some days I don't know if I am coming or going. In fact I sat down to watch tv for 30 minutes and fell asleep. I didn't realize I fell asleep, but when I woke up in the morning still fully dressed with the clothes I had on from the day before. I asked Josh why he didn't wake me up so I could at least take my bra off, he said, "You're grouchy when you're tired and I didn't want you to be a grouch!"
So that was just one day. The week did continue, but I was at least able to put on my pajamas at night! Today started really early once again....
Delta Mu Delta's induction ceremony was early this morning. Josh was asked to join because of his high GPA at school. Delta Mu Delta is the Honor Society for the University of Phoenix. Josh's GPA is 3.87, which is OUTSTANDING!!! Members who were inducted today are graduating in the top 20% of the entire graduating class.
There were 78 students inducted into the program today. These 78 students will be graduating in June with 2000 students total. (Yes I am one of those 2000) But I do have to say that my GPA 3.56, which is also Honors, but not High Honors. So I have to say that I am proud of myself as well. I don't need to have be a member of the Honor Society to know that I have done great in school as well.

So a little about the ceremony. The people conducting the ceremony asked everyone to hold their applause and cheers until all inductees have been recognized. So it was really quiet the entire time. Josh was in the middle of the inductees, so when his name is read, he jumps up and yells...YEAH!!! I couldn't believe he did that. But honestly I wasn't surprised. Just about everyone in the room laughed. Right before his name was read I started getting tears. Yes I do get emotional from feeling extremely proud of my family. When Josh did his little scene, my mom and I laughed. She even said, "I had a feeling he would do something like that!" Let it to Josh to break the tension in the room!
| Wow he's tall!!! And I'm just short!!! |
Anyway, it was a really great emotional day for Josh and I. Josh met a very difficult long range goal he set for himself. I am alway so happy when my family reaches a difficult goal they have set for themself. I know because I set my goals really high as well.
I also need to mention that Josh and I were able to pick up our cap, gown and tassels for graduation yesterday. We will graduate together on June 9. We are both crazy excite about that coming up really soon. So for now we will just keep plugging away at what we are doing. I will still have classes to finish after graduation until September, but it will be well worth it in the end...I hope!
